Metco Metcoloy 2 is a nickel-based, self-bonding thermal spray wire engineered for use in both combustion wire flame spray and electric arc spray systems. It is designed to produce coatings with excellent oxidation resistance, good corrosion protection, and strong adhesion without the need for a separate bond coat.
Thanks to its self-bonding nature, Metcoloy 2 forms a metallurgical bond directly with properly prepared substrates, making it ideal for repair, rebuild, and dimensional restoration of metal components.
