Flexible intake ducts are difficult to prototype with rigid materials. This duct is printed in TPU 90A so it can be compressed, bent, and clamped the way a production rubber hose behaves — letting engineers validate routing, clearance, and clamp positions on a running engine bay mock-up.
| Process | FDM flexible printing |
|---|---|
| Material | TPU, Shore 90A (85A to 95A available) |
| Build Envelope | 250 x 250 x 300 mm |
| Tolerance | ± 0.3 mm |
| Layer Height | 0.15 mm |
| Elongation at Break | 450% |
| Service Temperature | -20 °C to 90 °C |
| Lead Time | 4–6 working days |
Customization includes inner diameter, bellows count, wall thickness, and Shore hardness, so a single duct can be tested at several stiffness levels before a rubber mold is committed. Small batches for dyno and road trials are supported.
Send your duct routing and diameter requirements, and our engineers will return a printable model review and quotation within one working day.
