N9K-C9316D-GX Nexus 9000 Series Switch
The Cisco Nexus 9316D Spine switch features 16x400/100G QSFP-DD ports, built on Cisco Cloud Scale technology. This next-generation Nexus 9000 Series Switch introduces fully backward-compatible 400G optical interfaces using QSFP-DD technology, enabling seamless migration from 40Gbps and 100Gbps to 400Gbps speeds. The platform delivers flexible Layer 2 and Layer 3 scalability with performance optimized for virtualized data centers and automated cloud environments.
Operating Modes
Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches support two operational modes: Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) for intent-driven automation and policy-based application profiles, or traditional Cisco NX-OS mode for enterprise network environments.
