Huawei S12708 is an enterprise-level layer 3 switch launched by Huawei Technologies Co., LTD., mainly applied in data exchange and network management scenarios of enterprises and government agencies. This device adopts a modular architecture, supporting 8 service slots, with a maximum switching capacity of 60Tbps and a packet forwarding rate of 6240Mpps/9120Mpps, meeting the requirements of high-throughput data transmission.
The hardware configuration includes dual main control boards, three switching network boards and dual redundant power supplies. It supports hot-swappable design and virtualization functions, and can integrate multiple physical devices into a logical unit. It provides 48 Gigabit electrical/optical ports and 4 SFP+ interfaces, and is compatible with the expansion of various service board cards. The device integrates security features such as SSL/IPSec VPN and 802.1x authentication, and supports cross-vendor protocol compatibility adjustments
