The ConnectX-6 Virtual Protocol Interconnect (VPI) MCX654106A-ECAT card is a breakthrough supplement to the ConnectX series of industry-leading network adapter cards. The ConnectX-6 VPI card provides two-port HDR100 EDR InfiniBand and 100GbE Ethernet connections, with a latency of less than 600ns and 215 million messages per second, providing high performance and the most flexibility designed to meet the growing needs of data center applications solution. In addition to all the existing innovative features of the past version, the ConnectX-6 card also provides many enhancements that can further improve performance and scalability.

The ConnectX-6 VPI series supports HDR, HDR100, EDR, FDR, QDR, DDR and SDR InfiniBand speeds as well as 200, 100, 50, 40, 25 and 10Gb/s Ethernet speeds.
