Fluorescent Magnetic Particle Testing Machine HMP-6000


The MPI machine wet bench type is a core equipment used in industrial non-destructive testing (NDT) for batch detection of surface and near surface defects in ferromagnetic materials. It has high detection efficiency, intuitive results, and is suitable for quality control scenarios in multiple industries.


Main purpose
Detect surface and near surface defects of ferromagnetic materials (steel, iron, nickel, cobalt alloys), such as cracks, folds, inclusions, pores, lack of penetration, etc.
Used for factory quality inspection, in-service maintenance, and repair verification of raw materials, forgings, castings, machined parts, and welded parts.


HMP-6000 triple-phase full wave AC-DC fluorescent magnetic particle detector is a kind of fixed
AC-DC multi-function semi-automatic wet fluorescent magnetic particle detection equipment. It is
designed based on principle of magnetization and manufactured according to the standard
requirements of JB/T8290-2011 Magnetic Particle Flaw Detection Machine.

Three phase full wave DC current DC 0-6000A
AC magnetizing current AC 0-6000A
Magnetizing time 0.5-9.9 seconds adjustable (magnetization time digital display), with an accuracy of 0.1 seconds;
Magnetization method Totally 6 kinds of magnetization modes, 1. circumferential DC unidirectional, 2.
circumferential AC unidirectional, 3. longitudinal DC unidirectional, 4. longitudinal AC unidirectional, 5.
Combined magnetization of longitudinal DC & circumferential AC, 6. Combined magnetization of
longitudinal AC & circumferential DC.
DC ultra-low frequency demagnetization current DC 6000A-0, pre-selected current, automatically
attenuates from the pre-selected value to zero;
AC attenuation demagnetization current AC 6000A-0, pre-selected current, automatically attenuates
from the pre-selected value to zero;
DC demagnetizing current frequency is divided into five categories 0.39Hz(5), 0.78Hz(4), 1.56Hz(3),
2.34Hz(2), 3.12Hz(1);
Demagnetization effect remanence after demagnetization ≤0.2mT;
Detection sensitivity standard AS5282 test block DC 3500A DC display 9 holes (in line with GJB 2028
and HB/Z72 standards); AC A-type No. 2 test piece shows clearly;
Magnetization current switching method pneumatic knife switch switching
Magnetizing coil fixed type
Clamping method one-way pheumatic clamping

Operation principle

This machine is based on a small industrial programmable logic controller (PLC) and a
programmable touch screen (PT) as its core, which controls various actions of the system, such as
clamping, fixture movement, spraying magnetic suspension, magnetization, loosening, current direction 2
switching, current size adjustment, etc. It can complete all the inspection processes except for loading
and unloading and defect observation according to the prescribed program, and can be operated
automatically in one cycle or manually in one step.
