XGN-12 Solid Insulated Ring Main Unit

The XGN-12 Solid Insulated Ring Main Unit (RMU) is an innovative, environmentally friendly, and fully sealed power distribution unit. Designed and developed by DONGSHENGYUAN, this RMU eliminates the use of SF6 gas, offering a reliable and maintenance-free solution for medium-voltage electrical networks. With its advanced solid insulation technology, the XGN-12 ensures safe operation in harsh environmental conditions, making it ideal for applications in substations, industrial sites, and high-rise buildings.


Visible Isolation Cutout: The front of the unit has clear isolation cutout windows to easily observe the isolator’s positions (open, closed, and grounded), enhancing safety during maintenance and ensuring that operators can visually confirm the switch positions.


Pressure Relief Design: Equipped with an internal arc pressure relief valve, this unit releases pressure during an internal arc event, directing the harmful gas to a safe area, such as a cable trench, to prevent potential injury to the operator.


Eco-friendly: The XGN-12 RMU uses no SF6 gas, making it an environmentally responsible choice. This unit also reduces energy consumption by employing minimal connection points in the primary circuit, lowering operating costs.


Enhanced Arc Extinguishing: The unit features an improved arc-extinguishing chamber, using copper-chromium contact materials and longitudinal magnetic field contacts to provide better short-circuit breaking capacity, longer service life, and superior stability compared to traditional arc-extinguishing systems.
