MKVC vacuum contactor is a new-generation medium-voltage vacuum switch element series product developed with advanced domestic and international technology. The MKVC product shares identical dimensions with A-B-B's VC contactor, enabling installation in minimum 650mm mid-mounted switchgear.
Applications
The MKVC vacuum contactor operates in conjunction with high-voltage fuses capable of breaking wide-range short-circuit fault currents. Designed for AC systems with voltages of 3.6~12kV and frequencies of 50Hz/60Hz requiring extensive opening and closing operation cycles, it is particularly suitable for frequent switching applications. Widely used for protection and control of electrical equipment including high-voltage motors, transformers, capacitor banks, induction furnaces, and more in thermal power plants, metallurgy, petrochemicals, mining plants, and shipping industries.
Configuration Options
The GPVC vacuum contactor offers three configurations: electrical holding, mechanical self-holding, and permanent magnet holding. Control electromagnets facilitate closing operations through the operating mechanism, while opening operations are achieved via opening springs.
