UAV PCBs are core electronic components that enable the functionality, reliability, and performance of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs, also known as drones). They serve as the "neural network" and "power backbone" of UAVs, integrating and connecting key electronic systems to ensure stable flight, data transmission, and mission execution—even in harsh aerial environments (e.g., vibration, temperature fluctuations, electromagnetic interference).
• Double-Sided PCBs: Used in entry-level consumer UAVs (e.g., hobbyist drones) for basic flight control and power management. Cost-effective and easy to manufacture.
• Multilayer PCBs (4–12 Layers): Deployed in industrial or professional UAVs (e.g., agricultural drones, surveying drones). Support complex circuits (e.g., multi-sensor integration, high-speed data processing) with dedicated power and ground layers.
• Flexible PCBs (FPCs): Ideal for foldable or compact UAV designs (e.g., pocket-sized drones). Can bend without breaking, allowing for innovative mechanical layouts.
• Rigid-Flex PCBs: Combine rigid and flexible sections. Used in UAVs with moving parts (e.g., retractable landing gear) to connect fixed components (e.g., FCS) to flexible ones (e.g., wing-mounted sensors)
1. Gerber files (RS-274X)
2. BOM (if PCBA needed)
3. Impedance requirements & stack-up (if available)
4.Test requirements (TDR, network analyzer, etc.)
Noted:Normally,Gerber files includes: PCB type, thickness, ink color, surface treatment process, and if SMT processing is required, you can provide a component BOM and reference designation diagram, etc.
