Mineral insulated heating cables are used to cover applications that require high temperatures (e.g. chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas industries). Unlike resistance heating cables or self-regulating heating cables, mineral-insulated heating cables can withstand temperatures up to 1000°C. In addition, the moisture and chemical-resistant MI cable can be used for process heating and temperature maintenance on pipelines, vessels, cryogenic storage tanks, power plants, machinery, and equipment.
