Product Introduction
Muscovite Mica Mica is a group of aluminum silicate minerals with layer-structure, and rich in elements of potassium (K), aluminum(Al), magnesium and lithium etc. Dolomite (White Mica) is one of the similar sub-categories in mica group. It is transparent with no color or light color, and possesses the glass’s shine. Its Mohs hardness is about 2-2.5, specific density is 2.7-3.5. Dolomite possesses lots of excellent properties, for example electric insulating, high temperature proof, acid and alkali resist, and corrosion proof etc.
Muscovite Mica, also named as natural white mica, whose chemical formula is KAl2(AlSi3O10)(OH)2, is the most common mineral of the mica family. Global mica consumption is up to 1 million tons and 90% is Muscovite Mica. It has obvious layered structure and it is fairly light and relatively soft.
