The Technical Features Of Cement Rotary Kiln

  • The structure is reasonable. The vertical preheater with low pressure loss can effectively improve the preheating effect. The decomposition rate of limestone entering the kiln after preheating can reach 20-25%, and fine-grained limestone of 10-50mm can be utilized.
  • The reliable combined scale seals at both ends of the rotary kiln keep the air leakage coefficient less than 10%, and the use of composite refractory linings reduces radiant heat loss.
  • The filled type, zonal ventilation circular or square vertical cooler, the limestone temperature discharged from the cooler is 80℃ ambient temperature, which is convenient for transportation and storage, and can preheat the secondary air entering the kiln to over 700℃, reducing moving parts and special materials.

The Advantage Of Cement Rotary Kiln

The application of this technology not only enhances the quality of smelting and reduces production costs, but also brings about significant benefits in terms of energy conservation and emission reduction. It is reported that taking a 750T/D production line as an example, it can save 5,198 tons of standard coal per year, 1.24 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year and 150,000 tons of waste per year. At the same time, the use of active lime in steelmaking can reduce various consumables and shorten the smelting time, etc. When used in steelmaking, it saves 41 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, and when used in industries such as alumina, it saves 25 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually.

A single production line with a daily output of 750 tons can save 5,198 tons of standard coal and 1.24 million kilowatt-hours of electricity every year. The technology of producing 1,000 tons of active lime per day has reached a relatively high level overall, and the system energy consumption has been reduced by 12-15%. The equipment is widely applied in industries such as steel, metallic magnesium, calcium carbide, alumina, and papermaking, effectively promoting the sustainable development of related industries.
