MTW900105 MacConkey Agar 90mm Sterile Prepared Culture Media Plate for Gram Negative Bacteria Isolation
MTW900105 MacConkey Agar is a ready-to-use, sterile 90mm prepared agar plate for the selective isolation and differentiation of Gram-negative enteric bacteria. Bile salts and crystal violet inhibit Gram-positive organisms, while lactose fermentation produces pink to red colonies for lactose-fermenting species. It is widely used for coliform and Enterobacteriaceae testing in pharmaceutical, food, beverage and water microbiology.
