Description

AISI 1020 low carbon steel is a popular choice for prototyping due to its relatively low cost, good machinability, and reasonable strength and durability. It's commonly used for a wide range of applications, from automotive components to industrial machinery parts.

One example of a prototype part we've produced in AISI 1020 steel is a small gear. Using our high-precision CNC milling machines, we were able to fabricate a complex gear geometry with intricate tooth profiles and tight tolerances.
