ASTM A240 304 hot rolled stainless steel plate is the most widely used austenitic stainless steel grade, combining excellent corrosion resistance, formability, and weldability in a cost-effective package. The hot rolling process enables production of thicker gauges (3mm to 100mm) with robust mechanical properties suitable for structural and heavy fabrication applications.

No.1 finish (hot rolled, annealed, and pickled) provides an industrial-grade surface that is free of mill scale and ready for welding or further machining. With 18% chromium and 8% nickel, 304 delivers reliable performance across a broad spectrum of industries from construction to food processing equipment.
