The waste plastic baler is a hydraulic device specially used for compressing plastic waste. It compresses loose plastic into regular blocks through high pressure, which is convenient for transportation and recycling. Its core components include hydraulic system, compression chamber and automatic strapping device, which are suitable for various plastic materials such as PET bottles and plastic films.
Main materials suitable for waste balers:
1. Paper materials
Waste cardboard/cartons: density after compression can reach 0.8-1.2 tons/cubic meter
Newsprint/books: attention should be paid to the effect of ink content on compression effect
Corrugated paper: horizontal models are more suitable for processing long-sized materials
2. Plastic materials
PET bottles: need to be pre-crushed to improve compression efficiency
Plastic film: vertical models can handle but need anti-winding design
3. Fiber materials

The working principle of the waste plastic baler is divided into three stages: first, the plastic is put into the material box through a conveyor belt or manually, and the pre-pressing device performs preliminary compression; then the main pressure cylinder (pressure is usually 80-300 tons) implements high-pressure compression; finally, the automatic strapping device fixes the formed block with steel wire/plastic belt.
