Hexagonal gabion wire netting / zinc coated gabion wire mesh roll

Product Description:

Gabion mesh are wire containers made of hexagonal wire netting. Wire diameter varies with the hexagonal netting. According to different surface treatments, gabion mesh can be divided into galvanized and PVC coated wire mesh. For galvanized hexagonal wire netting, the wire diameter ranges from 2.0 mm to 4.0 mm. For PVC coated hexagonal wire netting, the outside diameter ranges from 3.0 mm to 4.0 mm. The selvedge wire is one gauge thicker than the mesh wire.

Gabions have been extensively used all over the world for erosion control, Retaining WaIls, Bank Stabilization, ChanneI linings, Weirs & Culverts protection, Highways and so many other applications.

Gabions are estabIished,sturdy and technically proven way for erosion control and retention of earth. Gabions strength comes from a double twisted hexagonal mesh of steel wires, thus in the event of accidental damage or break of one or more wires, the double twisted wire configuration ensures that minimal strength reduction occurs.
