1. Space & Equipment Compatibility
Align cabinet dimensions with the installation space, while reserving 10-15% clearance to facilitate operation and heat dissipation. In confined areas, give priority to compact or wall-mounted designs.
Determine cabinet size based on internal components (such as PLC modules and sensors). Ensure a spacing of at least 50mm between devices to meet cooling and maintenance needs.
2. Environmental Adaptability
For humid or dusty environments, adopt enclosures with an IP54 or higher protection rating; install fans or dehumidifiers for extreme temperature conditions. Select 304 stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance in harsh environments.
3. Functionality & Safety
Set aside 10-20% extra space to accommodate future upgrades (e.g., adding more sensors). Equip with necessary ports (Ethernet, RS485) to enable system integration.
