Description of SS304 Corrugated Metal Structure Packing
SS304 corrugated metal structured packing, also known as perforated corrugated plate packing, is assembled from multiple pieces of thin stainless steel 304 sheets stamped with dense micro holes and pressed into regular corrugated shapes. Adjacent corrugated plates are arranged in reverse inclined directions (30° or 45°), and each packing layer is stacked crosswise at 90° against the upper layer inside distillation towers to form orderly, uniform gas-liquid flow channels.
The microporous structure on plate surfaces optimizes liquid distribution and surface wettability, effectively eliminating channel flow and wall flow inside the tower. Made of high-quality SS304 stainless steel, this structured packing balances high mechanical strength, excellent corrosion resistance and stable mass transfer performance, widely adopted as core mass transfer media for atmospheric, vacuum and precision distillation towers in chemical processing.
