The production of colored stainless steel sheets via PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) involves three core stages: pre-treatment, PVD coating deposition, and post-treatment, with strict parameter control throughout.
This stage ensures a clean, smooth surface for coating adhesion.
Cutting & Polishing: Cut stainless steel coils/plates to required dimensions via laser or shearing. Polish with abrasive belts/wheels to achieve finishes like mirror, brushed, or matte, and remove minor scratches.
Cleaning: First, degrease with alkaline/solvent solutions to eliminate oil and fingerprints. Then, pickle with nitric-hydrofluoric acid to remove oxide layers and polishing residues. Finally, rinse with deionized water and dry with hot air/infrared to avoid water spots.
Completed in a high-vacuum chamber to ensure coating quality.
Vacuum Setup: Load dried substrates into the chamber, then pump to 10⁻³–10⁻⁵ Pa (high vacuum). Heat substrates to 150–300°C and use argon ion bombardment for deep cleaning.
Target Sputtering & Reaction: Select targets based on color (e.g., titanium for gold, chromium for silver). Use magnetron sputtering (plasma bombards targets to release atoms) or arc ion plating (electric arc melts targets) to vaporize targets. Introduce reactive gases (nitrogen for nitrides, oxygen for oxides); target atoms react with gases to form colored compound films (e.g., TiN for rose gold) on substrates.
Thickness Control: Monitor via a quartz crystal sensor to keep coating thickness at 0.1–1 μm (too thin = poor fastness; too thick = brittleness).
This stage enhances performance and ensures compliance.
Cooling & Finishing: Cool the chamber to room temperature, release vacuum, and unload. Optionally, lightly polish coated surfaces for better gloss.
Quality Checks: Test coating hardness (≥2000 HV via Vickers tester) and adhesion (no peeling via cross-cut tester). Use a spectrophotometer to verify color consistency (ΔE ≤ 1 vs. standards).
Packaging: Wrap qualified sheets in anti-scratch film, then pack in cartons/wooden pallets for transport.
Crafted from premium-grade stainless steel, this etched panel combines enduring strength with artistic elegance. The material resists corrosion, scratches, and extreme temperatures, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor installations. Whether mounted in a humid bathroom, sun-drenched atrium, or high-traffic commercial space, its surface remains pristine and vibrant over time. The precision laser etching ensures every hieroglyphic detail is rendered with museum-quality clarity, turning functional architecture into a statement of timeless sophistication.
Drawing inspiration from ancient Egyptian civilization, the hieroglyphic pattern transforms walls, partitions, or elevator cladding into narrative canvases. Each symbol tells a story—of gods, pharaohs, and cosmic order—inviting viewers to pause and decode the visual language of millennia past. The design bridges cultures and eras, perfect for luxury hotels, cultural institutions, or private collectors seeking depth and distinction. The interplay of light and shadow across the etched grooves adds dynamic texture, shifting with the day’s rhythm to create an ever-evolving visual experience.
Installation is effortless thanks to the panel’s modular sizing and compatibility with standard mounting systems. Maintenance requires nothing more than a soft cloth and mild cleaner—no polishing or protective coatings needed. Lightweight yet rigid, it ships securely and adapts to curved or flat surfaces with equal grace. Whether used as a standalone art piece or integrated into architectural features, this panel delivers museum-worthy aesthetics with industrial-grade durability, making history not just visible, but touchable, resilient, and enduring.
