Product Description


The threaded element is a functional component that is fitted onto the mandrel and directly in contact with the material. They achieve different processing tasks through different geometric shapes (such as the number of thread heads, pitch, rotation direction, etc.). Due to its modular nature, this design is also known as a "building block" screw.


The mandrel, often also referred to as the screw mandrel or main shaft, is a central shaft made of high-strength alloy steel. It serves as the fundamental framework and power transmission shaft for the entire screw system.


The threaded element and the mandrel together form the "heart" and "hands" of the twin-screw extruder, determining the quality and efficiency of material plasticizing, mixing and conveying. The two are closely combined, jointly constituting the extruder to achieve various complex process functions
