Hard Pressed Extruded 6061 T6 Aluminum Alloy Frame Party Marquee Tent

The frame is the backbone of any marquee tent, and ours is built from the best. Every Party Marquee Tent from Tendars uses hard pressed extruded 6061 T6 aluminum alloy, the same aerospace-grade material used in aircraft structures and high-performance engineering applications. With a tensile strength of 310 MPa and yield strength of 275 MPa, our frames withstand the structural demands of clear span designs up to 60 meters without internal columns.

Each aluminum profile comes with a traceable mill certificate verifying chemical composition and mechanical properties. The hard pressed extrusion process per EN 755 standards ensures consistent wall thickness and dimensional accuracy. Salt spray testing per ISO 9227 confirms Class 4 corrosion resistance, guaranteeing structural integrity even in coastal and high-humidity environments.

6061 T6 Aluminum Alloy Specifications

  • Chemical composition: Al balance, Mg 0.8-1.2%, Si 0.4-0.8%, Fe 0.7% max, Cu 0.15-0.4%
  • Heat treatment: Solution heat treated and artificially aged to T6 temper
  • Surface options: Clear anodized (15μm), powder coated (60-80μm) in RAL colors
  • Profile sections: 4-channel, 6-channel, and 8-channel designs for accessory attachment
