Rongsheng Life Jacket Light SOLAS MED Lifesaving Strobe Light

1. General Information:

This life jacket light is developed according to the new standards amended in 1996,and all of their properties are complied with the standards of the “safety of life at sea”(SOLAS) (1974) amended in 1996.

Lifejacket light is a kind of lifesaving outfit equipped on the lifejacket. It is appropriate for persons who fall into the sea at night to give out light signal to the lifesaver so as to be saved.

2. Feature:

· Light Output & Color:

Emits a minimum luminous intensity of 0.75 candela. The light must be white.

· Power Source & Duration:

Powered by a non-replaceable, long-life battery or energy source. It must provide continuous illumination for at least 8 hours.

· Activation:

Must be automatically activated upon immersion in water. A manual on/off switch is also required for testing and to prevent accidental battery drain.

· Visibility:

The light source must be omnidirectional (visible from all angles) across the upper hemisphere to ensure visibility from search vessels and aircraft.

· Environmental Resistance:
· Waterproof: Capable of withstanding immersion to a depth of 1 meter for at least 1 hour.
· Temperature Tolerance: Operational within a temperature range of -1°C to +30°C for stored lights and -1°C to +65°C for lights in use.
· Buoyancy & Attachment: The light must be buoyant and securely attached to the lifejacket via a lanyard or integral clip. It is designed to position itself for optimal visibility when the wearer is in water.

1,Never shot-circuit the positive and negative terminals of the battery . Short-circuiting may cause battery discharge under heavy current and heat generation form the battery or explosion.
2,Never throw the battery into fire. The heated battery over 85℃ environment may cause gas-vent distortion and leakage, inflaming or explosion.
3,Never solder the body of the battery directly for long time. It may cause heat generation form the battery or explosion and leakage.
4,Never Charging. It may cause gas evolution or internal short circuiting, followed by fire or explosion.
5,Never force-discharge.
Force-discharging by external power source or other batteries connected in a series may cause explosion/leakage/heat generation.
6,Never series wound battery by yourself. It may cause leakage, inflaming or explosion.
7,Never reverse the positive and negative terminals. The improper connection of the battery may lead to short-circuiting, charging or forced-discharging resulting in heating or explosion.
