The FCK46 is a numerically controlled lathe with a slanted bed frame. The frame is angled at 45° to allow operators to easily reach parts and ensure that chips fall away freely. The machine's full enclosure keeps chips and coolant contained, and its automatic lubrication system provides properly metered lubrication to the rails and ball screws.

The cross-sectional area of a slanted bed is larger than that of a flat bed of the same size, giving it greater resistance to bending and torsion.
  • More tool positions: With the same guide rail width, the X-axis slide of the inclined bed is longer than that of the flat bed, allowing for more tool positions.
  • Better chip removal: Slanted beds facilitate the removal of chips.
