Structure and Working Principle

The SL series adopts a downstream-back type rotary chain mechanism. The screen surface consists of toothed rake plates and fixed bars.

Operation Process:

1. Wastewater flows through the bar screen, where debris larger than the bar spacing is captured.

2. The toothed rake plates penetrate the bar gaps and are driven by a traction chain in a continuous rotary motion.

3. Debris is lifted upward from the bottom and discharged at the top outlet.

4. As the rake plates move downward, debris falls by gravity into a conveyor or collection hopper for further processing.

5. A secondary screen is installed at the bottom to prevent hydraulic short-circuiting and ensure complete debris removal.
