Why need a case?

1.As someone who is not very familiar with electricians or wants to DIY a solar panel pack, this DIY KITs provide you with a lot of convenience and save time and money costs.

DIY kits include all the accessories for assembling battery pack, such as epoxy boards, busbars(including the crossing busbar), BMS,Active balancer, cables and screws, etc.

No need to go to tens of shops to purchase those accessories.

2.According to the installation video or manual, a person with no technical knowledge can probably assemble it in 3-4 hours. A skilled person can assemble it in 1-2 hours. Greatly saving labor.

3.DIY kits and battery cells are priced lower than completed battery packs, and shipping costs are also cheaper,because there will be overweight charges for the battery pack.

4.The case supplies external mechanical pressure

  • Resistance to vibration and impact

Continuous vibration is generated during the operation of vehicles/equipment, and fixed structures (end plates, brackets, straps) are used to prevent battery cell displacement, collision, resulting in shell rupture or pole loosening.

  • Inhibit the cumulative effect of inflation

Although the expansion of individual cells is small, the slight expansion and superposition of hundreds of cells after grouping may squeeze the box. The fixing system can disperse stress and avoid deformation of the box.

  • Ensure consistent heat dissipation

By using fixtures or thermal conductive structural adhesives, the large surface of the battery cell is tightly adhered to the cooling plate, improving thermal management efficiency (insufficient heat dissipation can lead to uncontrolled heating).

  • Maintain the reliability of electrical connections

Prevent the pole from loosening due to vibration and avoid local overheating caused by virtual connection of connecting pieces.

During the day, batteries store solar energy or store Grid electricity when it is cheaper, and use the battery's power at night and during peak hours.

What is the difference to V3
1.There is a 250A DC Breaker on V4 kits

When overload or short circuit faults
occur in the DC circuit, the DC circuit breaker can quickly cut off the circuit, prevent equipment overheating or damage, avoid arc and fire risks, and protect the combiner box and downstream equipment.
When repairing or replacing equipment, manually disconnecting the circuit breaker can cut off the current and ensure personnel safety. In addition, circuit breakers can isolate faulty components and prevent the entire system from shutting down.
