The threaded drill rods in rock drilling tools include extension rods and MF drill rods. The characteristic of this kind of drill rod is that the shank adapter, rod, coupling sleeve and bit are connected into a rock drill string group through the threads on the rod body. The basic requirements of the drill string for the connecting thread are: tight connection, good energy transmission effect, strong wear resistance and convenient disassembly. At present, there are two commonly used thread forms: rope thread (R32,R35,R38...) or trapezoidal thread (T38,T45,T51...).
