BYK-1790 Defoamer is a silicone-free, polymer based defoamer for solvent-free, radiation-curing wood and industrial coatings, printing inks and adhesives. Suitable for pigmented and unpigmented coating systems. The high efficiency of the defoamer is not impacted by pigmnets, fillers,wax additives or matting agents,

Application : BYK-1790 is suitable for coloring and varnish systems, and also has excellent defoaming properties in systems containing pigments, fillers, wax auxiliaries and matterers. Radiation curing systems, solvent-free systems for industrial coatings, printing inks and paper coatings.

Usage: In order to obtain sufficient defoaming effect, it is recommended to add it before grinding. If added later, mix under sufficiently high shear to ensure defoaming.
