The polished double rim wheels are made from high strength steel. Running surfaces are hardened to 40 HRC. The crane rail wheel runs on self aligning antifriction roller bearings and have substantial flanges on either side of the machined running face. The forged wheel with shaft is shrunk fit on to their respective axles, and can be easily replaced.
