Co2 Laser Engraving Machine Leather Glass Ceramics Paper Stone Laser marker
Feature:
CO₂ laser engraving machines excite carbon dioxide gas (mixed with assist gases such as nitrogen and helium) to generate a continuous wave or pulsed laser. This laser is then focused and directed onto the surface of a material. The high-energy laser beam instantly melts, vaporizes, or carbonizes the material, achieving engraving or cutting.
Basic process:
An electric current excites the CO₂ gas, generating infrared laser light (10.6μm wavelength);
This light is focused onto the material surface via a reflector and focusing lens;
A control system (software + control board) controls the movement of the laser head to engrave the desired pattern;
The laser energy vaporizes or changes the color of the surface material, creating the desired pattern or cutting effect.
