This painted stainless steel sculpture with a mirror-polished base and storyboard named Red Glasses, is designed by artist Sam Noordhoff for ArtPrize 2021. Now this 2.4 meter-long sculpture is installed at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. The sculpture is inspired by a 5-year-old from Grand Rapids who passed away in 2018. Her legacy started the “Red Glasses Movement”, simply put a pair of Red Glasses is to inspire the world to live boldly, love big, and pass it on.
