Properties & Application:
(1). Boron content: 2.5~3.5% for AlB3, 4.5~5.5% for AlB5, 7.5~8.5% for AlB8. Used for adding boron element to Al alloy or grain refining of pure aluminum or aluminum alloy in the course of smelting.
(2) A lot of dispersed AlB2 corpuscles with high melting point are produced in the process as foreign crystalline cores when these corpuscles coagulate, notably refining the crystalline configuration of the cast ingots, improving the mechanic, electronic and working properties of the aluminum cast.

Function:
Used in electrical and aluminum wire industry to remove Ti, V, Cr and other impurity elements affecting conductivity in molten aluminum, improving its conductivity.
