General Introduction


This penetrometer is designed and made as per T0604-2011 Penetration Test for Bituminous Materials in JTG E20-2011 Specification and Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering and ASTM D5 Standard Test Method for Penetration of Bituminous Materials. The penetrometer is used to determine the penetration of pavement petroleum asphalt, modified asphalt, liquid petroleum asphalt and emulsified asphalt. It is also suitable to test solid particle, powder, colloid and raw-food materials such as cheese, glycine, butter, cream and leavening. It can be widely used in food industry, highway engineering and other industrial fields.

Product Advantages

1.Auxiliary operation device is equipped with a cold light source illumination device and a magnifying glass, which is convenient for precise observation and operation during the test.
2.Penetration detection unit adopts a new ranging detection unit, the test repeatability is stable, the data is accurate, and the accuracy can reach 0.1 penetration; the test data can be directly displayed and saved on the screen without manual conversion and reading.
3.Measurement range The maximum measurable penetration value is not less than 600 units, which can meet various related test requirements.
4.Lifting structure design
1) The unique electric lifting structure controls the coarse adjustment and fine-tuning functions of the lifting frame by the stepper motor, which is convenient for the precise alignment of the needle tip to the specimen plane.
2)Solve the problem of short service life of traditional gear lifting structures and improve equipment durability
3)The lifting frame has automatic control of the needle bar drop and locking function, which can automatically and steadily stop at any position.
5.Level adjustment function The operating table is equipped with horizontal bubbles, and the bottom stainless steel foot has an adjustment function to ensure that the instrument maintains a high level and ensures the accuracy of testing.
6.Data processing and output With proprietary "computer drawing software + accurate data reading technology", it can automatically draw and print the Nomogram diagram of asphalt penetration relationship; It can be equipped with an external industrial computer all-in-one machine control to realize data docking and uploading with the platform.
