General Introduction


This Low-Temperature penetrometer is designed and made as per T0604-2011 Penetration Test for Bituminous Materials in JTG E20-2011 Specification and Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering and ASTM D5 Standard Test Method for Penetration of Bituminous Materials. The penetrometer is used to determine the penetration of pavement petroleum asphalt, modified asphalt, liquid petroleum asphalt and emulsified asphalt. It is also suitable to test solid particle, powder, colloid and raw-food materials such as cheese, glycine, butter, cream and leavening. It can be widely used in food industry, highway engineering and other industrial fields.

Product Advantages

1.The instrument is equipped with HWY-3 constant temperature water bath, which can provide circulating constant temperature water to the constant temperature bathtub on the working platform of the penetration meter, which can realize the temperature environment required by the tested sample, and the temperature control accuracy reaches ±0.1°C.
2.Equipped with a digital display time control device, the suction and release of the electromagnet are controlled after the set time is reached, so that the push rod falls and stops moving.
3.Equipped with a cold light source illumination device and a magnifying glass, which is convenient for precise use and operation during testing.
4.Equipped with a 100% millimeter ruler depth measuring mechanism with LCD digital clearing, the data is stable and accurate, with an accuracy of 0.1 pin penetration, with zeroing and memory functions, and the data is stable and can be checked.
5.The maximum measurable insertion value is not less than 600 units, which can adapt to various test requirements.
6.The unique electric upgrade structure controls the rough adjustment and fine-tuning functions of the lifting frame by the stepper motor, which is convenient for the needle tip to align with the specimen plane; It solves the shortcomings of the short service life of the original gear lifting structure and improves the durability of the equipment.
7.The lifting frame has the function of automatically controlling the drop and locking of the pin rod, and can automatically stop steadily in any position.
8.The operating table is equipped with horizontal bubbles, and the bottom stainless steel foot has an adjustment function to ensure the high level of the instrument.
