Introduction

This instrument can simulate rain falling horizontally onto the test fabric that is vertically fixed in a stainless steel tank. The back of the sample is tightly against the standard filter paper (weighing needs to be done before and after the test). The water in the water column is sprayed by the standard nozzle to form rain, and the water column volume can be adjusted from 600mm (24 inches) to 2400mm (96 inches) in increments of 300mm (12 inches).

The rainproof test instrument provides an LCD color touch screen with an interactive user interface, allowing presetting of ISO and AATCC test standards, water temperature, water column height, and test time. The built-in reservoir can recover the water sprayed onto the sample, and the reservoir is equipped with a heater to control the water temperature. The precise pump can automatically maintain the water column on the nozzle at the set height.
