ISO 75 ASTM D648 Plastic Vicat Softening Temperature Test Machine
Product Overview
The Heat Deflection and Vicat Softening Temperature Tester is engineered to determine the heat-softening characteristics of plastic raw materials and finished products in compliance with international standards. This versatile instrument measures both heat deflection temperature and Vicat softening temperature through interchangeable indenters.
Utilizing transformer oil (up to 200°C) or methyl silicone oil (up to 300°C) as heat transfer media, the system features mechanical stirring for optimal oil circulation. The large-capacity tank design ensures stable temperature control and uniform temperature distribution throughout the testing environment.
Key Design Features
- High-strength specimen rack prevents deformation under maximum load
- Materials with complementary thermal expansion coefficients minimize test interference
- Standard spans of 64mm and 100mm for heat deflection testing
