The KSD series thermostat operates on the principle of bimetal discs that snap into action when sensing temperature changes. This snap action activates the contacts through the internal structure, ultimately controlling the circuit on/off function. Manual Reset Type: Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it snaps quickly and the movable disc disconnects. The contact point cannot reset automatically when temperature declines; it requires manual reset by pushing the reset button to reconnect the circuit.
Auto Reset Type: Temperature sensing components consist of bimetallic strip. When temperature reaches the action range, it snaps quickly and the movable disc disconnects. The contact point automatically resets and starts working when temperature declines to the fixed reset point.
