UP 258D12 KNX Presence Detector with Brightness Sensor 5WG1258-2DB12
This KNX ceiling presence detector integrates PIR occupancy detection with a built-in brightness sensor, providing both presence-triggered control and real-time illuminance measurement for daylight-responsive automation. It covers 360° horizontal field with approximately 105° vertical coverage, monitoring an area up to 8 m diameter depending on mounting height. The integrated IR decoder supports S 255/11 handheld remote for manual override of scenes, lighting, and shading without additional wall modules.

Applications
Offices, meeting rooms, classrooms, and commercial spaces where KNX presence detection must combine with ambient brightness monitoring. Brightness output feeds constant light controllers, HVAC solar-compensation systems, or shading actuators for glare reduction. Pairs with KNX dimmable actuators and blind modules.
