Product Overview

The N 146/03 KNX IP router routes KNX telegrams between bus lines, areas, or systems over a standard Ethernet network while encrypting traffic with KNXnet/IP Secure. It can operate as a line coupler, area coupler, or system coupler, suiting projects from single buildings to multi-building campuses. Up to five simultaneous tunneling connections support parallel ETS commissioning, visualization clients, and remote tools.

Network parameters are set via ETS or assigned automatically by DHCP. Power is supplied through IEEE 802.3af PoE or an optional external AC/DC 24 V supply, so no separate KNX bus power is needed on the IP side. Five LEDs report availability, KNX status, and IP link state.
