The KNX binary input device combines eight voltage inputs and eight potential-free contacts in a single compact module, offering flexibility for mixed-signal integration. Voltage inputs cover AC/DC 12 to 230 V, while potential-free inputs accept standard dry contacts and relay outputs. Each input includes an LED for status display and supports up to 100 m unshielded cable length.

  • Input functions are configurable: telegram rate limitation, debounce time adjustment, input locking via blocking objects, and adjustable long button press duration
  • Contact type can be configured as normally open or normally closed
  • Transmission parameters include cyclic, change-of-state, and bus-voltage-recovery transmission
  • Short and long button press evaluation, switching on/off/overwrite, and 8-bit or 16-bit value transmission are supported
  • Dimming functions include single-button and two-pushbutton dimming with stop telegram, plus shutter/blind control and scene storage/recall
  • Pulse counting with limit value monitoring is available for energy and event counting
