SILICONE PRIMER
Primarily, silicone primer is designed to adhere unvulcanised addition-type and peroxide-system silicone rubber to metal, PA, PET (Polyethylene terephthalate), etc.
●Silicone kitchenware products ●Silicone diving glasses ●Silicone parts, silicone rubber rollers
●Good adhesion ●Long storage for after-primer-coated substrates ●High temperature tolerance for second cure of silicone rubber
| Appearance | Transparent liquid or gel |
| Viscosity | <100000mpa.s |
| Temperature Resistance: | -60~180℃ |
| Specifical gravity | 1.28 g/cm3 |
1. Chemical treatment of the substrate with solvent, Cleare oil and dust . 2. Mix completely the A and B with ratio 1:1 and apply the primer by dipping, brushing, spraying or silk screen printing method. 3. Baking at 90-135℃ for 15-20mintes. 4. The primer treated substrates are processed within that day.
5. Foward the unvulcanized silicone rubber with primer-coated substrates in mouding process or hot air vulcanization.
1.Find a cool, dry spot out of direct sunlight to store the product, and keep it away from heat and anything that could spark a fire.
2. Screw the cap back on after every use to stop the primer from evaporating. If you want the primer to last longer, store the used portion separately.
3. The solvent is dangerous. Make sure your workspace has fresh air and no fire risks, and don’t breathe in the fumes or let it stay on your skin.
4. You’ll need to test the silicone primer with your molds before curing. Avoid contact with organic substances like N, P, S, and ionic metals like Sn, Pb, Hg, Sb, Bi – they can mess up the curing process.
1000ml/Bottle or 3KG/Bottle Keep the product sealed and stored at 20℃-25℃ away from light and heat, shelf life for 3 months.
