Inverter Control Panel For Electric Single Girder Overhead Cranes Long Traveling 10ton

Variable frequency drives (VFD) are very popular for controlling hoist, trolley, and bridge motors. VFD’s can be programmed for a wide variety of applications to make the use of a bridge crane easier and safer. VFD’s offer more versatility for speed and acceleration characteristics than contractor controls. Contactors are still available on smaller hoists.

For heavy duty hoisting applications, a flux drive (or closed loop) is recommended.

The standard electrical setup for cranes is very straight forward. The operate simply presses a button to operate different motions of the bridge crane systems. kiwicrane Crane can make a custom bridge crane control package to the user’s specifications.
