Spiral vibration Damper

Product introduction

  • The spiral vibration damper is to dissipate the wind power input on the ADSS cable to prevent critical stress,it’s composed of a helical formed plastic rod. About one fifth of the overall length of the helix is of smaller diameter .This section is used to attach the damper and provides a completely reliable grip on the ADSS cable , the remaining section is for damping so that the helix has no close contact to the cable, its anti-vibration part to produce damping against wind vibration,it significantly disperses and reduces power caused by cable vibration to protect cable very well.
  • Select the proper type and quantity of spiral vibration damper according to cable diameter and span length .(For the detail , Referring relative table).
  • The damper must be installed in such a way that the gripping section is placed towards the tower and the damping section towards the free span .No special tools are required for installation.
