Description

904L is a high alloy austenitic product used in severe corrosion conditions. It has very good resistance to: 1. Pitting and crevice corrosion 2. Intergranular corrosion 3. Stress corrosion cracking 4.904L is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel with low carbon content, which is very good in dilute sulfuric acid Corrosion resistant, designed for environments with harsh corrosive conditions. It has high chromium content and sufficient nickel content. The addition of copper makes it have strong acid resistance, especially high resistance to chloride crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, and it is not easy to appear corrosion spots and cracks. The corrosion ability is slightly better than other steel types, and it has good machinability and weldability, and can be used for pressure vessels.
