Truck-integrated Tethered Firefighting Drone
The Tethered UAV Fire Truck is an innovative fire rescue system developed specifically for high-rise building fire extinguishing challenges. Supported by a key project under the Ministry of Science and Technology of China's "Open Bidding for Key Tasks" initiative and led by Professor He Qinghua, this integrated system combines a heavy-lift tethered UAV with a ground fire truck. The tethered UAV serves as an aerial fire-extinguishing operation platform, while the fire truck provides power and fire-extinguishing agent supply. The system enables rapid deployment to fire sites, with autonomous takeoff and landing from the fire truck roof, and continuous fire-extinguishing agent spraying operations at altitudes up to 200 meters for sustained suppression of high-rise building fires.
