Product Introduction: The Anti-Corrosion HDPE Geomembrane is a specialized protective material tailored for anti-corrosion applications in mine smelting workshops. It is produced from specially modified HDPE resin with enhanced chemical resistance, through advanced extrusion and calendering processes. The product has a smooth and dense surface, with excellent impermeability and corrosion resistance. Unlike ordinary HDPE geomembranes, it is optimized for the high-corrosion environment of smelting workshops, capable of withstanding the erosion of strong acids, alkalis, and heavy metal salts. It is available in thicknesses from 1.0mm to 3.0mm and can be customized in size according to the layout of the smelting workshop.
Main Functions: The primary function is corrosion protection—it can form a reliable protective barrier on the workshop floor and the inner walls of storage tanks/ditches, preventing corrosive liquids and gases (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and heavy metal fumes) generated during smelting processes from corroding the concrete or steel structure, extending the service life of the workshop facilities. Secondly, it has anti-seepage performance, which can prevent the leakage of corrosive liquids into the soil and groundwater, avoiding environmental pollution and complying with environmental protection regulations. Thirdly, it has good mechanical strength and wear resistance, capable of withstanding the impact of smelting equipment and the friction of materials, without damage. In addition, it has easycleaning performance, with a smooth surface that is not easy to accumulate dirt and corrosive residues, reducing maintenance costs.Application Scenarios: This product is mainly used in mine smelting workshops, including the lining of smelting pits (where smelting reactions occur), the lining of chemical storage tanks (for storing corrosive raw materials and by-products), the lining of wastewater collection ditches (for collecting smelting wastewater), and the corrosion protection of workshop floors. It is suitable for various smelting processes, such as copper smelting, gold smelting, and iron smelting workshops. In addition, it can be used in the corrosion protection of auxiliary facilities in smelting areas, such as acid washing pools and electroplating pools.
Installation and Usage Notes: Before installation, clean the surface of the floor or tank, remove oil stains, rust, and debris, and ensure the surface is dry and flat. Lay the geomembrane closely attached to the surface, with an overlap of 15-20cm between adjacent membranes, and use a special anti-corrosion welding machine to weld the overlaps. For corners and edges, cut the geomembrane into appropriate shapes and use arc transition pieces to avoid sharp corners which may cause stress concentration. After installation, conduct a leak test (using water or corrosive liquid with low concentration) to ensure no leaks. During use, avoid using sharp tools to scratch the geomembrane surface; if any damage is found, repair it with special anti-corrosion welding rods immediately. Regularly clean the geomembrane surface to remove corrosive residues.
