• Matrix Trays are primarily used in automated test & assembly processes, adhering to JEDEC standards. Integrated circuits and components are removed from these trays for testing or assembly onto printed circuit boards.

• Matrix Trays within the same device family and maker’s model are stackable. However, it is not recommended to mix trays from multiple manufacturers, even within the same device family, due to small differences between brands. An empty tray, without components, acts as the cover tray on top of the stack.
