Description

API6A Weldneck Flange Adapter 2 1/16" x 5000psi AISI 4130 Forging PSL2 PR2​​

The weldneck flanges are forged adapter flange used in oil and gas well flow control service, the flange adpaters are made of pipe flanges attached by welding the pipes to the neck of the flanges. The weldneck flanges are used to transfer stress from the flange to the pipe instead. It also reduces the stress concentration from the base of the hub. Welded neck flanges is able to remove stress concentration and allow full working pressure, so the weld neck flange adapter can be used for high pressure applications. The inside diameter of the flange is designed to match the pipe's inside diameter. Weld neck pipe flanges are typically provided with a raised face, flat face, or RTJ facing.The weld neck flange is designed and manufactured in accordance with API 6A specificatio, the body of adapter flange is made from high-strength alloy and processed specially with heating treatment, which make the adapter flange more reliable in service.
