  2. Remove old ring and pinion components
  3. Clean housing and carrier thoroughly
  4. Install new pinion with proper bearing preload
  5. Install new ring gear to differential case
  6. Install differential case into housing
  7. Set backlash to OEM specification (0.15-0.25 mm)
  8. Check tooth contact pattern with marking compound
  9. Recheck preload, backlash, and pattern
  10. Install new pinion seal
  11. Reinstall carrier and fill with new gear oil
  12. Road test and check for leaks
