Installation Guide
  1. Disconnect battery negative cable
  2. Remove the steering column covers or dashboard trim
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the old switch
  4. Remove the retaining screws/clips securing the switch
  5. Remove the old switch (use a key if needed to turn to ACC position for removal)
  6. Compare new switch with old (connector, mounting, key profile)
  7. Install new switch, tighten retaining screws
  8. Reconnect electrical connector
  9. Reinstall trim covers
  10. Reconnect battery
  11. Test all key positions: OFF, ACC, ON, START (ensure engine cranks and starts)
  12. Verify that the steering wheel lock (if equipped) functions correctly
